Garage Folks with Piotr Bulas and Rafal Jablonski from Poland
La Roche, France, Largest European Bluegrass Festival
The Bluegrass in La Roche festival in France took place on July 30 – August 2nd. La Roche is the largest Bluegrass Festival in Europe. Piotr Bula & Garage Folks let up the stage. Rafal Jablonski grounded the band with his clear, strong vocals and fine picking on his Gallagher G-70. They came away “electrified with bluegrass vibes! Thanks to all the musicians for the unforgettable jams and incredible concerts, with a special nod to East Nash Grass and Rick Faris Band. What an amazing time it was!”
We got to spend time with Rafal when he came to Brevard, NC in May for the Blue Ridge Guitar Camp with Bryan Sutton. We made arrangements so that he did not have to travel with his G-70, instead he borrowed David’s G-60 which didn’t know it was but by the end of the camp it was a bona fide Bluegrass Guitar. He also stopped by Nashville and then our shop before returning to Poland. While in Nashville he enjoyed playing at the Station Inn and Dee’s Lounge where he was invited on stage by Kyle Tuttle.
