Bluegrass Bell – Modified

The Bluegrass Bell harkens back to the prewar days of vintage guitars. We achieve that goal with forward shifted x-brace that was patterned after a 1937 D-18. We added torrefied Adirondack spruce top and bracing. In a departure from our headstock design, we incorporated our French curve with a square headstock.  Madagascar Rosewood has similar sonic and visual properties of Brazilian Rosewood.  The tonal range is exceptional, with clear highs, resounding mid-range punch, and a rich and defined bass.  This make Madagascar a favorite go-to substitute for Brazilian Rosewood.  You can reach out to the fine folks at Banjo Ben’s General Store for assistance with this guitar.
