A Symbol of Heritage
The Signature of the Provenir Series
The Provenir Series is distinguished by its iconic Fleur-de-lis and scroll inlay, a design element that pays homage to the Mathis family crest. This intricate inlay is crafted in-house, with each piece meticulously cut and set by hand, ensuring that every Provenir guitar carries this mark of distinction. The fleur-de-lis not only serves as a visual signature of the series but also represents the deep-rooted heritage and craftsmanship that Gallagher Guitar Co. embodies that also now reflects the influence and direction under the leadership of David and Reina Mathis. This emblem is a testament to the legacy of quality and artistry that defines the Provenir Series.

Certificate of Provenance: A Testament to Craftsmanship
Each Provenir guitar is accompanied by a Certificate of Provenance, a detailed document that chronicles the journey of the instrument from raw material to finished masterpiece. This certificate serves as a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship and dedication involved in its creation, providing a comprehensive record of the wood selection, build process, and the skilled hands that shaped it.
The Certificate of Provenance is more than just a piece of paper; it is a narrative of authenticity and heritage. It captures the essence of the Provenir Series, ensuring that every guitar is not just an instrument but a story waiting to be told. This document is a cherished keepsake for owners, offering a glimpse into the artistry and precision that define Gallagher Guitars.
A Legacy of Craftsmanship
Founded in 1965 by J.W. Gallagher and his son Don, Gallagher Guitar Co. has been synonymous with exceptional woodworking and honest craftsmanship. Originally nestled in Wartrace but now “just down the tracks” in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Our guitars are built with a dedication to quality that has been passed down through generations. Each instrument reflects our unwavering commitment to creating guitars that resonate with authenticity and integrity.
Honoring Our Roots
Gallagher Guitar Co. stands as a beacon of traditional craftsmanship, where every guitar tells a story of dedication and skill. Our legacy is built on a foundation of meticulous attention to detail and a passion for creating instruments that inspire musicians worldwide. From our humble beginnings, we have grown into a symbol of excellence in the world of acoustic guitars.
Crafted with Care
Our journey began with a simple belief: that a guitar should be more than just an instrument. It should be a reflection of the artistry and dedication that goes into its creation. At Gallagher Guitar Co., we continue to uphold this belief, ensuring that every guitar we build is a masterpiece of sound and craftsmanship.
The Essence of Materials
Every Provenir guitar is a testament to the meticulous selection of materials, where each piece of wood is chosen not just for its aesthetic appeal but for the unique tonal qualities it brings to the instrument. The woods are handpicked to ensure that they contribute to the rich, resonant sound that defines the Provenir Series. This careful curation of tonewood ensures that each guitar not only looks stunning but also delivers an unparalleled auditory experience. The visual and tonal elements are harmonized to create instruments that are as beautiful to behold as they are to play.
