G-70, #3810

JP Cormier has become a dear friend – at a personal level as well as to Gallagher Guitar Co.  His feedback and participation has been valuable to us.  JP reached out to us soon after we re-opened Gallagher at the new shop in Murfreesboro.  He ordered a G-70 from us.  He was a ray of light during the dark period of the beginning of the pandemic.

During a later visit to the shop, JP played our new G-70 “Slim” (Comfort dreadnought).  He loved the body size so much that he asked about trading his G-70 towards the new G-70 Slim.  So now, this guitar is available to you.

His G-70 has a 1 11/16″ neck width at the nut.  We have since moved to 1 3/4″ as standard for our guitars unless ordered differently.

Price $4,750

J.W. Gallagher’s second guitar line, his first rosewood guitar, the G-70.  This guitar has been cherished by so many through the years.  Chris Jones and JP Cormier both play a G-70.

• Rosewood back and sides
• Sitka spruce top
• Ivoroid bound body, neck and headstock

• K & K Pure Mini Pickup

This is a beautiful guitar with a rich, full sound.  Mother-of-Pearl diamonds and squares adore the fretboard.  Herringbone purfling and rosette reflect the legacy of this guitar.  Nitrocellulose finish gives that rich luster and facilitate the classic sound.
